About Indiana Court Docket

Indiana court information is held in several places. MyCase, the Indiana Courts Case Search portal, provides a statewide index for many participating courts; the Indiana Supreme Court sets rules for access to court records; and each county's Clerk of the Circuit Court maintains the case record filed there. This hub brings those routes together so readers can start with a statewide search, learn how Indiana's courts are organized, or move to the county office that holds a particular record.

Why We Built This Site

Our purpose is to make Indiana's split record system easier to navigate. MyCase lets the public search eligible case information from participating courts, while the Indiana Supreme Court's access rules govern which court records are public and how electronic access works. The Clerk of the Circuit Court in the county where a case was filed keeps its official Chronological Case Summary (CCS) and case file. A statewide result can help identify a case, but readers may need the county clerk for the complete docket or a copy. The directory covers all 92 Indiana counties and links to each county court resource.

What You Will Find Here

What We Cannot Do

This is an independent reference resource, not a court or government service. We are not affiliated with an Indiana court, the Clerk of the Circuit Court, or a state agency. We cannot:

  • Provide an official CCS, court file, or certified copy
  • Set or change a hearing date or other court setting
  • Alter, seal, or remove a case record
  • Advise you on how a law, filing, or ruling applies to your case
  • Promise that listed contact details, fees, or procedures remain current

For an official CCS, court record, or certified copy, contact the Indiana county Clerk of the Circuit Court or the court that holds the case. This hub can direct you to that office, but only the record holder can issue the document.

Search Partners

Search boxes on some pages are operated by outside providers, which control their own services and prices. If a visit through one of those tools leads to a paid signup, we may receive a referral fee; that income helps support this free reference resource. We do not set partner fees or control partner results.
